RoboCupJunior RoboCupJunior is an educational initiative that helps teams of students build and program mobile robots to perform a variety of challenges. Students will learn and apply the scientific, mathematical, and technological fundamentals behind the construction of robots and the design of control algorithms. Science and robotics-related research demonstrations at Duke supplement weekly after school meetings at Durham School of the Arts with undergraduate student mentors.
The project staff conducts competitions for the students and workshops for interested teachers. Study a topic of interest and connect with a global network of peers. Daily lessons will include both synchronous and asynchronous sessions.
Experience live Zoom meetings with your instructors and like-minded students. Qualified high school students may take Duke University undergraduate courses for credit in our commuter or online courses. More information will be available on the Duke Summer Session website. HPREP works to increase the number of minority students entering health professions by exposing underrepresented high school students to opportunities in health fields, information about the unique healthcare needs of their communities, and mentors invested in their professional success.

No matter what genre your student enjoys writing, they will develop writing skills that work across genres and critique works from both prominent and lesser known authors to understand what it takes to write well.
Students will also support each other through critical peer-review to enhance their original writing. Students will walk away from this course with a introductory college-level understanding of macroeconomics. Like the Macroeconomics course, this intensive course provides an introduction to college-level microeconomics. Students will learn how to use microeconomics as a model for understanding human behavior, and how individuals and businesses try to maximize their resources.
