There is a much easier way. Go to the Steam web site, click on games at top of screen and select activate a product on Steam.

Steam will then download the game. One added benefit of this method is you will no longer be required to insert your DVD to play. To play the game first run GTL Config. Start- search- "GTL" will get you there. On steam its easy as it will give you a choice when you select it from the Steam dashboard. But make sure you run the config.

You wil read that this was designed for dual monitors. This is not true and I have never found a working instance of this running on 2 monitors. The closest I've come is with Softth ver. After much trial and error I Forced the WDDM drivers in Vista and got 2 monitor graphics for the title screens but as soon as I tried to race the program closed aand crashed.

Save yourself hours of reading If there is someone on this planet that has managed to accomplish this they are keeping their secret. Three monitor game play is possible. Eyefinity, Softth and others work according to other posts I've read. Since I only have 2 monitors I haven't given these posts much consideration except as how they might concern my goal of 2 monitors.

However as far as I can tell they only streach your 1 monitor view across 3 monitors with no way of changing the Field of Veiw FOV. For now I have 2 versions of GT Legends running. The original version from DVD with the Starforce patch, and the Steam version that took me days to find the correct information to install. GT Legends is too good to be without. There is a fix for this available on the net - not sure how RD feel about it being posted here. Joe Schmoe. This isn't working in my case.

Steam says it's an invalid code. I think maybe I have a U. I have all 3 cds, manual and box. Any suggestions are appreciated. Rupe Wilson Premium.

The European version is dot matrix printed and you need to be careful about Os and 0s, and 1s and Is, Zs and 2s. Having said that, some US versions were distributed without the on-line code. I've found this forum post 5 years after it was posted! I have obtained a Polish DVD version of this game with a key printed on the DVD - the process as you describe it is not visible on the Steam site in its current version.
